Andy has been involved in competitive swimming for over 10 years. He started when his eldest daughter joined the club and wanted to “make a difference”. He is now a qualified Senior Coach (UKCC Level 3) meaning he is capable of delivering a swimming programme that helps swimmers develop and achieve their full potential at whatever level they are aiming for.

He is currently “Director of Swimming” of the Ross-on-Wye section as well as supporting the Junior Performance and Age Group squads in Hereford.

In his first 2.5 years at Ross-on-Wye, he oversaw the growth of the section from 40 to over 60 swimmers and from one to eight county qualifiers. In 2016 his swimmers won the first county medals for Ross in over ten years, with three Silver medals.
