Dave has been involved in water polo since beginning as a junior in 1975. Most of his playing career was at Handsworth in Birmingham and two years ago he decided to enjoy "the twilight" of his playing career at Worcester.

He is an ASA level 2 water polo coach and was instrumental in starting the water polo section of the club in 2013. Since then he has coached junior players to county, regional and national level. Despite being only a small section, Dave has been key in forging partnerships with other clubs and associations to give his players the best opportunity to reach their potential. In 2015 the club joined with Worcester Crocodiles to enter a junior team in the Midland League for the first time.

 A self-confessed "water-polo nut" he also team manages Worcester Crocodiles Ladies Team and coaches academy water polo for the Midlands Region.
